Lately there are lot of instances of people losing their sanity . Succumbing to anxiety , depression and paranoia. What is triggering them to it ?
If you look for the answer , it’s actually very simple !!
You always go back to the childhood. It’s not in adulthood where the answers are seeked . It could be some trauma, some unaddressed issue, some buried sorrow . Taking the children through each phase of their issues is very important. Today in this world of social media it’s all out in the open . Everyone wants attention from a totally shallow form. It’s either all out or all bottled in. The right balance is totally missing . Earlier on the Norms were different. Today we live in an attention seeking world . Competition galore . Youngsters are under constant pressure to perform better . Tremendous comparison sometimes from close quarters . At times between the siblings .
The pressure is mounting . In this scenario very rarely they find true friends . If they have found then they’ll be able to tread the rough waters . If they haven’t then the ventilation happens in the form of anxiety, psycho somatic disorders , paranoia or depression.
The age of free play has taken a backseat . They like to be among machines and gymming . I honestly have nothing against it . Rather the youngsters exercised in a park , out in the open . It’s beautiful to be out with nature . It’s very therapeutic and invigorating. The release of negativity and stress just happens .
The best we could do is be supportive, encourage them and let them speak of their fears . It’s very important for parents or care givers to be their true confidante’s .
Let them stay positive . Vent out their anger . A sport is a must . Good company is paramount.
Take them through the journey of life smiling .
